St. Josaphat Banquet Centre (henceforth SJBC) agrees to furnish the renter the use of the facility with or without catering services and to the following terms and conditions:

 1.        Renter Agrees:
         A.       to pay required deposit to hold date; $1000.00 Full Hall, $500.00 Half Hall, $200.00 1/3 Hall,
                 $150.00 ¼ Hall

DEPOSIT is non-refundable after Ten (10) days
DEPOSIT is applied to balance on your contract. (This is not a room charge)

         B.      that if the renter desires alcohol to be served, the caterer or SJBC must provide the bartender(s).
                 SJBC does NOT provide alcohol. The renter also assumes full responsibility, and must comply with all  
                 laws and regulations of Michigan Liquor Control Act. Outside liquor cannot be brought in except by
                 licensee. Renter furnishes proof of Special Event Insurance and agrees to pay for the bartenders.

         C.       To be responsible for damages, losses through theft, breakage of property during rental period, and
              agrees to indemnity and hold harmless the SJBC from any claims, liabilities, losses demands, or
                 actions whatsoever.

          D.       Food cannot be taken from the premises.

 2.        50% of the Contract balance is due on a negotiated date prior to date of event.

 3.        Renter must notify SJBC Ten (14) days prior to event with guaranteed number of guests.
         Balance of contract is due at this time.

         A.       Price quoted is based on the minimum number of guests per hall size. (Full, 1/2,  1/3,  1/4)

 4.        Decorations must be fireproof and approved by management prior to event.
         Candles must be enclosed, smokeless and drip-less.

                 A.       No tape, adhesive, nails, screws, staples, etc. are permitted on walls, bar or woodwork.
                 No Mylar cutouts or glitter are allowed on the tables.

 5.        When amplification (sound) equipment is used, the sound will be limited to the rented room. SJBC reserves 
         the right to control sound systems.

 6.       If the SJBC is used by minors, the group must have its own adult supervision on premises during the
        entire event.

 7.        Unlicensed Gambling is not permitted on premises.

 8.        No unauthorized persons may enter any area of the building that is not open to the public during the event.

 9.     Entertainment must be kept tasteful and approved by management; as the SJBC is part of the church building.

 10.     Rental Hours:  Luncheon: 4 Hour Rental          Weddings: 6 Hour Rental    Dinner: 5 Hour Rental

Sunday:                             10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. & 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Monday – Saturday:        10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.                           
Friday & Saturday: 
           5:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.  

Minimums:  Weddings –         
     100 people (Friday)  
     150 people (Saturday)  
     100 people (Sunday)                     All other functions:  (Luncheons) 75 people

      – Bar Closes ½ hour prior to close of event.
–  Premises must be vacated by 11:00 p.m. weekdays and Sunday;
                and 1:00 a.m. Friday & Saturday.
Additional hours available at $200.00 per hour.
